As the way people seek information evolves, interesting trends develop.  Research has shown that the internet is having a huge effect on the advertising industry with 22% looking at printed publications, 25% discussing in person and 47% using the internet.

How Effective is Your Website?

Closing Thoughts

So, what do you think?  Are you serious about getting your website working for you?

Many people think that having a website built for them means they will automatically have heaps of people find them online and it will totally change their business.  Sadly this is not the case.

Many companies build a website and then wait for it to be found.  This is the same as opening an office and hoping that the phone will start ringing and potential clients will just start walking in the door.  You may have the phone ring with the occasional wrong number or the odd sticky beak will pop into your office to find out who the new person on the block is.
